People not staying at the hotel also came in for breakfast. Both the restaurant manager and the night reception had excellent communication skill in English I had booked for a 4 night stay as location was central to the train and airport."

Riad Dar Palmyra
"A nice riad in the city center. Decent rooftop breakfast with views of the Medina, friendly staff."
Bab Hotel
"Hello, it is our first time in Morocco and we love ver Marrakesh. Our stay in Bab Hotel was very comfortable, and I would like to especially say that Ouma was very helpful and gracious to us. On my first night, we did not know where to eat dinner and she recommended a good place nearby. She made sure to take care of us that we are comfortable. Would love to stay with you again."
Dellarosa Boutique Hotel and Spa
"Great location. 15 minute walk to the main square or 5 mins in a taxi. Friendly staff from start to finish. Fatima (housekeeper) was honestly amazing. She would be one of the reasons I came back. Every day she greated us with a smile (and fresh towels) spent time to see if we needed anything. When my other half was ill she was helpful in telling us what to ask for at the pharmacy. The breakfast was nice and we eat at the hotel 2 nights and both the international Buffett and the traditional Moroccan food were both superb. We got upgraded to the Dellarosa Suite which was a lovely surprise Can’t wait to come back."
Dar Hilana - Boutique Riad & Spa
"!!!Note: The address listed for this guesthouse, 212 Derb el Cadi, is incorrect on Google Maps. This address is in the west of the city, but the guesthouse is in the east. You need to search for "Dar Hilana." Take a bus to the Bab aylan gate, then walk about 500 meters. This guesthouse seems to be newly opened; the facilities are quite new. It has three floors, with a rooftop terrace offering a good view. The overall decor has a strong local feel. The area outside the guesthouse is a local residential area with fruit and snack shops, but no restaurants. We usually ate near the tourist attractions. The breakfast was quite plentiful, including yogurt, honey, bread, and fried eggs, and tasted pretty good. The owner and staff were very friendly. However, I felt the guesthouse's decor focused too much on artistic flair and neglected practicality. I expect the maintenance costs will be quite high in the future. For example, the bathroom walls weren't tiled; they were just whitewashed, which is prone to mold and peeling."
